About the Role

Working in partnership with Northern Lights Learning Trust, Vision for Education are looking to recruit a qualified Nursery Teacher to work on a full-time basis across primary schools in the Darlington area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is committed, enthusiastic, and passionate about supporting children in Nursery and Early Years settings. You will work within supportive school environments, delivering engaging, creative, and age-appropriate activities that help young children develop their confidence, communication, social skills, and early learning foundations.

This is a full-time position, ideal for a teacher seeking a consistent role within an Early Years setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Nursery and Early Years learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Create a positive, inclusive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
• Support children's development through play-based learning and creative activities
• Observe, assess, monitor, and record children's progress
• Promote children's communication, language, physical, social, and emotional development
• Manage behaviour effectively using positive and age-appropriate strategies
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for children

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching or working within Nursery or Early Years settings
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A passion for Early Years education and supporting young children
• The ability to create engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
• The ability to adapt teaching and activities to meet a range of developmental needs
