£121.50 – £158.45 per day (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

A welcoming primary school in the TS10 Redcar area is looking to appoint a passionate PPA Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from September 2026 until July 2027.

This is a friendly and supportive school with a dedicated staff team and a strong focus on creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.

Working across the school to provide PPA cover, the successful teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across a range of year groups and subjects. This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible and enthusiastic teacher who enjoys working with different pupils and adapting their teaching to meet a variety of learning needs.

This is a long-term temporary position offering an excellent opportunity to become part of a positive school community.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have:

• PGCE with QTS
• Experience of teaching in a primary school setting
• Experience delivering lessons across different year groups and/or subjects
• A strong understanding of the National Curriculum
• A passion for supporting pupil development and progress
• The ability to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Excellent classroom management skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility and confidence when adapting to different classes and teaching requirements
