The successful candidate will take full class teacher responsibility for a Year 4 class, planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The role
This role will include:
· Taking full class teacher responsibility for a Year 4 class.
· Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
· Assessing and monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly.
· Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
· Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
· Working closely with teaching assistants and other members of staff.
· Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement.
· Working full-time throughout the first half term of the Autumn Term 2026.

Requirements
To be considered for this Year 4 Teacher position, you will:
· Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
· Have previous experience teaching within a primary school, ideally in KS2.
· Have experience teaching or working with pupils in Year 4.
· Be confident planning and delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum.
· Have strong classroom management and communication skills.
· Be able to commit to a full-time role for the first half term of the Autumn Term 2026.
· Be able to provide two recent and relevant references.
· Have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
