About the role
Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a full-time Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Telford. This is a temporary role running until the October Half Term break, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher to join a supportive two-form-entry school.
The Role
As a Year 4 Teacher, you will take full responsibility for your class, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all pupils. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure pupils are supported to make progress both academically and personally.
Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 4 curriculum.

Taking full responsibility for the day-to-day teaching and learning of the class.

Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all pupils.

Assessing and monitoring pupil progress.

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Managing behaviour effectively and consistently.

Working collaboratively with the wider teaching team.

Maintaining positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

Supporting the wider life of the school.

Requirements
The successful Year 4 Teacher will ideally have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2.

Experience teaching Year 4 is desirable.

A strong understanding of the primary curriculum.

Excellent classroom management skills.

The ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A commitment to supporting pupils' academic and personal development.

Availability to work full-time until the October Half Term break.

Two satisfactory references.

An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
