Welsh/English Primary Teacher – Supply Opportunities

Are you a passionate Welsh-speaking Primary Teacher looking for flexibility and variety in your teaching career? Vision for Education is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated teachers to work on a supply basis in Welsh-medium primary schools across Pembrokeshire and the surrounding areas.

Whether you are an experienced educator or a Newly Qualified Teacher, this role offers the chance to gain valuable classroom experience while making a positive impact on pupils' learning and development.

What You Will Be Doing

Working within welcoming and supportive school environments, you will:

• Deliver engaging lessons across the primary age range
• Support pupils' progress through effective assessment and feedback
• Adapt confidently to different classroom settings
• Contribute positively to school life and learning outcomes
• Take advantage of opportunities for longer-term placements as they arise

While most placements will be within Welsh-medium schools, opportunities in English-medium settings may also be available if preferred.

What We Are Looking For

To be successful, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience delivering the Welsh curriculum
• Fluency in Welsh and confidence teaching through the medium of Welsh
• Experience within the Foundation Phase and/or Key Stage 2
• Strong classroom management skills
• The ability to motivate, inspire, and engage learners
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Applications from NQTs are encouraged, and any supply teaching completed can contribute towards your Induction Year.
