Are you a Key Stage 2 Teacher who thrives in larger than average settings , and loves to teach within Multi-Cultural/diverse settings? Are you looking to immerse yourself into a professional setting ? Led by an ambitious Headteacher who currently oversees two schools within the Multi-Academy trust , both ECT’s and experienced Teachers are welcome to apply.

This fully inclusive setting with its designated provisions for both the Hearing impaired and SEND , also hosts a multitude of unique features across the school which allows it stand out from other schools within the borough. It boasts large outdoor playgrounds and playing field which host an outside performance theatre area, garden zone , and reading hut . Within school, classrooms are bright with high ceilings, and there is also a well-equipped Music and IT suite .

The ideal Primary Teacher must have a sound understanding on how to deliver an inclusive curriculum, and be an all-round team player as you will be joining a cohesive (and welcoming) team

The school is accessible Upney and Barking station

Experience and training needed for this role include:

Previous experience as a Key Stage 2 Teacher, although Exceptional ECT’s will be considered

An understanding of the expectations required when teaching multi-cultural, inclusive learning environments

A great team-working ethic, and willingness to immerse yourself into the school culture

Qualified Teacher Status

A commitment to supporting learners both academically and pastorally
