The School and Role
A welcoming primary school in the Newton Aycliffe area is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on an ongoing basis.
This supportive and inclusive school is committed to providing a nurturing environment where children can thrive both academically and personally. The successful candidate will work within the Early Years Foundation Stage, delivering engaging and creative learning experiences that support pupils' development and encourage a love of learning from an early age.
Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, the desired teacher will be responsible for creating a stimulating classroom environment, assessing pupil progress, and ensuring all children are supported to achieve their full potential.
Requirements
The desired Early Years Teacher will have:
- PGCE with QTS
- Experience teaching within EYFS
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- A passion for supporting young children's development and learning
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
