Vision for Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join our teaching staff for schools in Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to inspiring students and supporting their academic and personal development.
As a Psychology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and stimulating lessons, creating a positive learning environment, and helping students develop their knowledge and understanding of psychology.
The ideal candidate
We are looking for a Psychology Teacher who:
- Has a strong knowledge and understanding of Psychology.
- Can plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons.
- Is passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential.
- Has excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- Can build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Is adaptable, flexible and confident working in new school environments.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience in teaching across different key stages is advantageous.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work flexibly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for education and a commitment to student development.
All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
