Are you an experienced School Administrator confident using school management systems and familiar with the day-to-day demands of a busy school office?

We are currently recruiting experienced School Administrators to work across welcoming and supportive schools in Leeds and the surrounding areas. With temporary, longer-term and permanent opportunities available, this is an excellent opportunity for candidates who already understand school office procedures and can hit the ground running.

Please note: Applicants must have previous experience working in a school administration role and be familiar with school management information systems (MIS). Applications from candidates without previous school-based administrative experience will not be considered.

The Role

As a School Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective day-to-day running of the school office.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling enquiries from parents, staff, pupils and visitors in a professional and approachable manner.
  • Managing pupil attendance records and maintaining accurate administrative information.
  • Updating and maintaining school management systems, such as SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or similar MIS platforms.
  • Supporting teaching and support staff with general administrative duties.
  • Assisting with school office procedures, record-keeping and the organisation of daily operations.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for the school community and helping to maintain an efficient, welcoming office environment.

You will be joining friendly, collaborative school teams where reliability, organisation and an understanding of school procedures are essential.

Requirements

To be considered for these School Administrator opportunities, you must:

  • Have previous experience working in a school administration or school office role.
  • Have practical experience using school management systems, such as SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or similar MIS platforms.
  • Understand school office procedures, including pupil records, attendance and general school administration.
  • Be confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be professional, approachable and reliable.
  • Be able to manage competing priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

This role is suited to experienced school administrators who can confidently step into a school office environment with minimal training.

What We Offer

As part of our team, you will benefit from:

  • Competitive hourly pay of £14.43 PAYE.
  • Flexible opportunities, including part-time, temporary and permanent roles.
  • Access to CPD and training opportunities to support your professional development.
  • Employer pension contributions.
  • Opportunities to attend social and networking events.
  • Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant throughout your placements.
