SEN Teaching Assistant – Colchester & Surrounding Villages

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? We're looking for caring, confident and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support local schools across Colchester and surrounding villages.

Pay

• £95–£110 per day, depending on experience.

• Weekly PAYE pay – no umbrella companies!

The Role

• Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 or small-group basis.

• Providing tailored support with learning, communication and development.

• Helping children with emotional regulation and social skills.

• Creating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.

• Confidence supporting pupils with varying levels of need.

• A patient, caring and adaptable approach.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• A genuine passion for making a difference.
