What will you be doing?

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll be an important part of a pupil's school experience. You'll:

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support.
• Help pupils overcome barriers to learning.
• Support children with a range of SEND needs.
• Build confidence, independence and positive relationships.
• Work closely with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Celebrate progress, from the small wins to the big achievements.

Previous experience working with SEND is desirable but not essential. The right attitude, commitment and willingness to learn are just as important.

You'll need the right to work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
