Vision for Education are seeking a compassionate, and skilled Teacher to lead a class of sixth form students with severe learning difficulties.

The school is a supportive and inclusive SEND setting based in North Birmingham. The school is committed to providing high-quality care and support for pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties.

The Role

• Deliver personalised learning support that enables every pupil to reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the diverse learning needs, abilities, and interests of all pupils.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate pupil progress regularly, adapting teaching approaches and interventions to maximise achievement and personal development.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and positive educational outcomes.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified teacher (PGCE/QTS/QTLS essential).
• Has experience working with pupils with SEND, particularly those working below age-related expectations.
• Is patient, resilient, and creative in their approach to teaching.
• Has strong behaviour-support skills.
• Can work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

To be considered for the role, you will:

• Have a suitable qualification, (QTS/QTLS essential).

• Have experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities.
• Be confident in your abilities and skills to promote happy and confident learners.
• Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
