The Role
- Deliver personalised learning support that enables every pupil to reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the diverse learning needs, abilities, and interests of all pupils.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate pupil progress regularly, adapting teaching approaches and interventions to maximise achievement and personal development.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and positive educational outcomes.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified teacher (PGCE/QTS/QTLS essential).
- Has experience working with pupils with SEND, particularly those working below age-related expectations.
- Is patient, resilient, and creative in their approach to teaching.
- Has strong behaviour-support skills.
- Can work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
To be considered for the role, you will:
- Have a suitable qualification, (QTS/QTLS essential).
- Have experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities.
- Be confident in your abilities and skills to promote happy and confident learners.
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
