Supply Teaching in Gloucester

As a Supply Teacher, you'll step into different primary classrooms and take responsibility for delivering lessons, supporting pupils and maintaining a positive learning environment.

You could be working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, depending on your experience and the vacancies available.

Your role may include:

• Delivering lessons using plans provided by the school
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining routines
• Supporting pupils with different abilities and learning needs
• Adapting activities where appropriate
• Building a positive rapport with pupils and staff
• Keeping pupils engaged throughout the school day
• Following school safeguarding and behaviour procedures
• Providing a consistent and positive classroom experience

Requirements

To work as a Supply Teacher, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• An Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Right to Work in the UK
• Suitable professional references
• Safeguarding and Child Protection training

Pay & Benefits

£700–£900 per week, depending on experience, qualifications and the individual assignment.
