Are you a qualified secondary teacher looking for a role that gives you greater control over your workload, the chance to experience different schools and the opportunity to make a positive impact wherever you go?

With the new GCA Government framework for supply agencies now in place, Vision for Education is delighted to be working as an exclusive or preferred supplier with more schools than ever before. This means more opportunities for teachers across the region and greater choice when it comes to finding work that suits you.

We are looking for Secondary Supply Teachers across all subject areas to join our growing team. Whether you are an experienced teacher seeking a more flexible approach to work, an ECT wanting to broaden your classroom experience, or simply ready for a fresh challenge, we would be pleased to hear from you.

The Role

As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will work within a variety of secondary schools, using your subject expertise to deliver engaging lessons and provide continuity of learning for pupils.

One of the biggest advantages of supply teaching is the flexibility it can offer. At Vision for Education, we have opportunities to suit a range of circumstances, including:

  • Day-to-day supply, ideal if you want maximum flexibility and the ability to decide when you work.

  • Short-term placements, giving you the chance to gain experience in different schools and discover environments that suit you.

  • Longer-term assignments, offering increased consistency and the opportunity to build strong relationships with staff and pupils.

  • Permanent vacancies, for teachers who find the right school and decide they are ready to take their next career step.

Our experienced consultants take the time to understand what you are looking for, helping us identify schools and assignments that align with your skills, availability and career ambitions.

What We're Looking For

We are interested in hearing from teachers across the full range of secondary subjects, including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, PE, Art, Design & Technology, Computing and Performing Arts, among others.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have appropriate teaching experience.

  • Have experience working within a secondary school setting.

  • Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and helping young people succeed.

  • Demonstrate strong communication and classroom management abilities.

  • Be comfortable adapting to different schools, pupils and teaching environments.

  • Be dependable, enthusiastic and professional.

  • Have a genuine passion for education and supporting pupil progress.

ECTs are very welcome to apply. Supply teaching can be an excellent way to build confidence, experience a variety of school environments and develop your classroom practice while receiving support from an experienced education recruitment team.

Why Choose Vision for Education?

We know that teaching looks different for everyone. You may want the freedom to work around other commitments, the opportunity to explore different schools or a pathway towards a permanent position.
