Role: Teaching Assistant.
Location: Tameside
Start Date: September
Contract: Long-term with Daily Opportunities available.
Salary: £462.80 – £500 per week (dependent on experience and scale point).
Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in Manchester from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children’s learning and development within a rewarding long-term role.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is:

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
- Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
- Assist with classroom preparation and daily school activities.
- Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence, and social development.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
- A positive and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for helping children succeed academically and personally.
Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare would be advantageous but are not essential.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
The minimum requirements for this position are:
- Experience working with children
- A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
