The Role

The successful Teaching Assistant will:

• Support pupils within the classroom on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and as part of whole-class activities
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Help pupils remain focused, motivated, and engaged in their learning
• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence
• Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
• Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
