Teaching Assistant

£97-£100 per day

September 2026-July 2027

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant who is driven and committed in supporting children that need extra help and support in class both academically and pastorally. The ideal Teaching Assistant would have experience of supporting those that may hail from backgrounds of trauma, and be skilled in de-escalating and regulating behaviour. Teaching Assistants will need to be well-versed in the safeguarding of children/child protection, and must be able to communicate effectively with the school SENDCO/DSL where necessary.

The school is an extremely welcoming and supportive 3-form entry Junior school in Romford, Havering. It is larger than average in size and boasts excellent levels of outside space and facilities. Supportive of the Arts, it also offers designated studios for both Art and Music.

Working hours are 0830-1515, Monday-Friday. On-site car-parking is on offer.
