The School and Role

A primary school in Blyth is looking for a full-time Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join their team. You will provide classroom support and deliver focused English and Maths interventions to help close gaps in learning and support progress ahead of the SATs. Experience working with Year 6 or upper KS2 pupils is desirable. This role would suit someone who is confident, encouraging and enjoys helping pupils overcome challenges and succeed.

Requirements:

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

• Experience of working within KS2.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
• A passion for the progress of pupils.
• An ability to work as part of a team.
