About the Role
Working in partnership with Spark Education Trust, Vision for Education are looking to recruit qualified Teaching Assistants to work across a number of primary schools in the Middlesbrough area.

This is an excellent opportunity for Teaching Assistants who are flexible, committed, and passionate about supporting young learners across a variety of school settings. You will have the chance to work within supportive school environments, making a real difference to pupils' learning, development, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils to enhance learning and progress.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Assist with assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
  • Promote positive behaviour and support effective classroom management.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support pupils' learning and wellbeing.

What We're Looking For

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • A passion for education and supporting young people to achieve their potential.
  • The ability to adapt your approach to meet the diverse learning needs of pupils.
  • A flexible, reliable, and proactive attitude.
