We are seeking a dedicated, full time, Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school we are working in partnership with in the Taunton area. Previous experience in the education or care industry is desired, but not essential. Working closely with classroom teachers, you will support the delivery of high-quality instruction, foster an inclusive learning environment, and help each pupil achieve their full potential. Working as part of a committed team who are supporting young people with autism, you must cater to the diverse needs of the students and therefore you need to be:

Main Responsibilities:
>Supporting students to engage in a range of enrichment activities.
>Developing learning resources that are individualised to meet students communication needs.
>Working closely with teacher to follow session plans and schemes of work and reporting on the progress of students to inform future planning.
>Utilising strategies from students’ Positive Behaviour Support Plan to engage effectively in learning, whether on-site or in the community.
Pay & Hours: 14.24 p/h. Monday - Friday 08:30am - 15:30pm, term time only.
