Teaching Assistant – Grays / Thurrock

Location: Grays / Thurrock, Essex
Pay: £95–£108 per day

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pupils to create a positive, supportive learning environment. Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils with their learning and development.
• Working 1:1 or with small groups of pupils.
• Helping prepare classroom resources and activities.
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
• Providing general classroom support to the teacher.
• Helping create a safe, inclusive and welcoming classroom environment.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have a genuine passion for working with children and young people.
• Are patient, enthusiastic and reliable.
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Have experience working with children or young people (desirable, but not always essential).
• Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Hold or are willing to undergo the relevant safeguarding checks.
