Teaching Assistant – Grays

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Grays from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and wants to make a positive difference to their learning and development. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to support pupils both academically and personally.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons and activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
• Help pupils develop their confidence, independence, and learning skills.
• Support children with their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Assist with classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Encourage pupils to participate fully in classroom activities.
• Work closely with teachers and other support staff to meet pupils' individual needs.
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children.
