Teaching Assistant – Fylde Coast

Teaching Assistant – Secondary School, Fylde Coast
As a Teaching Assistant on the Fylde Coast, you will support pupils aged 11–16 in a secondary school environment, helping them to engage with their learning and reach their full potential.
We have opportunities starting from September 2026, with roles available across schools on the Fylde Coast, allowing us to place you at a school local to you.
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities may vary from day to day and could include supporting individuals or small groups, assisting teachers in the classroom, managing behaviour and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
You can choose the flexibility of day-to-day Teaching Assistant work or, if you are looking for greater job security, take on a full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant position.

Requirements
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:
- Have experience working with secondary age children
- Hold a minimum Level 2 childcare qualification or equivalent
- Have excellent behaviour management skills
- Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required
