TEACHING ASSISTANT – CHELMSFORD

Chelmsford & Surrounding Areas | £95–£108 per day

Vision for Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Chelmsford and the surrounding areas.

Job Description

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils both inside and outside of the classroom. Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils with their learning and development
• Working with individuals and small groups of children
• Assisting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
• Providing support to pupils who require additional help
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Supporting pupils with their social and emotional development
• Assisting with classroom preparation and general duties

Job Requirements

• Previous experience working with children is desirable
• A genuine passion for supporting children's education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, caring and supportive approach
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Strong classroom management skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification are desirable but not essential
• Candidates must be willing to undergo the necessary safeguarding and recruitment checks
