As a Trainee Cover Supervisor, you will support classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task. You will help maintain high standards of behaviour, assist with learning across different subjects, and gain valuable classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across Key Stages 3–5 following guidance from teaching staff
• Maintain student engagement, behaviour, and safety
• Support learning by assisting students with tasks where appropriate
• Adapt to the needs of different classes and school environments
• Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
