About the Role

As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and other support staff to help create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils with their learning and development
• Working with individuals and small groups of children
• Helping teachers prepare classroom activities and resources
• Providing encouragement and support to pupils throughout the school day
• Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive and welcoming classroom environment
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff

Requirements

We’re looking for candidates who are:

• Passionate about working with children
• Reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking
• Patient and approachable
• Able to communicate effectively with children and adults
• Willing to learn and develop their skills
• Previous experience working with children is beneficial.
