About the Role
Vision for Education are currently recruiting Unqualified Teachers to work across a variety of Primary and Secondary schools throughout the Gloucester area, covering GL5 to GL17. This is a flexible supply role with opportunities available on a day-to-day, short-term, and long-term basis.
This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, experienced Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants looking to step up, Supply Teachers, or individuals with previous classroom experience who are passionate about supporting young people's education.
As an Unqualified Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, support pupils with their learning, and create a positive learning environment. Assignments may vary across different schools, year groups, and subjects, offering excellent experience and variety.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should:
- Have experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting
- Be confident leading groups and managing behaviour effectively
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be adaptable and comfortable working across different schools and age groups
- Be able to provide suitable references
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check
- Have the Right to Work in the UK
