Vision for Education is proud to be working in partnership with a friendly and welcoming primary school in Chigwell, who are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Wrap Around Care Manager to lead their after-school provision.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience working with primary-aged children who is passionate about creating a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment for pupils outside of the school day.

The Role

As the Wrap Around Care Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily running of the school's after-school club, ensuring children receive high-quality care in a fun, stimulating and nurturing setting.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day operation of the after-school club.
• Planning and delivering a range of creative, educational and recreational activities.
• Leading and supporting wrap around care staff.
• Ensuring the safety, wellbeing and safeguarding of all children attending the provision.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and school staff.
• Maintaining accurate registers and ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will:

• Have previous experience working with primary-aged children in a childcare, education or wrap around care setting.
• Have experience leading or supervising a team (desirable).
• Be organised, reliable and confident managing a busy childcare provision.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be passionate about creating a positive and inclusive environment where children can thrive.
• Hold a relevant childcare qualification (Level 3 or above is desirable but not essential).
• Hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
