Durham Women are delighted to announce that the club and Vision for Education have extended their partnership into the 2024/25 season. Marking over a decade in partnership together.
Vision for Education - who are part of The Edwin Group - are specialists in education recruitment and assist in recruiting and supplying great teachers, support and leadership staff from their branches across the country.
Their logo has been on the front of Durham’s kit for over a decade and will once again feature proudly on our home kit during the upcoming Barclays Women’s Championship campaign.
The two organisations have worked in tandem since 2014 in what is now one of the longest-running partnerships in professional sport - and our work together has extended far beyond just a logo on a shirt.
From inspirational school visits from Durham’s professional players to trips to Wembley and fantastic tournaments involving schools from across the region, the partnership has positively influenced thousands of youngsters in the North East and further afield.
And that will continue to be the case as the agreement enters a decade, with many exciting initiatives and plans already in place for the upcoming season.
That will kick off with a child’s ticket giveaway to schools for Durham’s opening fixture of the 2024/25 campaign, when Sheffield United visit Maiden Castle on September 8.
Commenting on the extension of the partnership, Will Washington, Commercial Director at The Edwin Group said: “We are proud to have sponsored Durham Women’s Football Club over the last decade and to be able to work with them to positively impact the lives of the young people and schools we work with. The season ahead is an exciting time for the club and everyone at Vision for Education and The Edwin Group will be cheering them on.”
