Vision for Education are delighted to once again be organising and sponsoring South Tyneside’s annual Unsung Hero Awards.

We’re asking schools across South Tyneside to nominate pupils whose dedication, hard work and achievements deserve to be recognised. Alongside celebrating the success of unsung heroes from across schools and colleges in the South Tyneside community, each school will also nominate their own entertainment act to perform alongside the awards.

All participating schools and colleges will select a winner to go through to the Unsung Hero celebration evening at The Customs House in South Shields at 6.30pm on Thursday 6th July.

We can’t wait to hear about your superstar young people, so if you know a pupil who deserves an Unsung Hero Award, you can nominate them today via our online form or pick up a nomination form from the reception of a participating school or college. The closing date for nominations is Friday 3rd May 2024.
