Vision for Education is seeking enthusiastic and confident Primary Cover Supervisors to work in welcoming and supportive primary schools across Southend-on-Sea.

The Role
As a Primary Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in the absence of the class teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Ensure pupils remain engaged and complete the work set.
- Adapt your approach to meet the varying needs of pupils within the classroom.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress, behaviour and lesson outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with primary-aged children in a school, childcare or youth setting.
- Is confident leading a class and managing behaviour effectively.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is flexible, organised and able to adapt to different schools and year groups.
- Holds or is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
