The School and Role
A welcoming primary school in the Redcar area is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 until December 2026.
This is a part-time position, working 2–3 days per week, providing high-quality teaching and learning within Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to deliver engaging lessons, maintain high expectations for pupils, and contribute positively to the wider school community.
This supportive and inclusive school is committed to ensuring all children achieve their full potential in a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. The successful teacher will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons that inspire pupils and support strong academic progress.
Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, the desired teacher will create a positive classroom atmosphere where pupils feel motivated, challenged, and supported in their learning.
Requirements
The desired KS2 Teacher will have:
- PGCE with QTS.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
- A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
