About the Role
Working in partnership with Northern Lights Learning Trust, Vision for Education are looking to recruit a qualified KS1 Primary Teacher to work on a full-time basis across primary schools in the Darlington area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is committed, enthusiastic, and passionate about supporting children in Key Stage 1. You will work within supportive school environments, delivering engaging and creative lessons that help pupils build strong foundations in their learning while making a positive impact on their development.
This is a full-time position, ideal for a teacher seeking a consistent role within KS1.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality KS1 lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for primary education and supporting young learners
- The ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs
