Role: Trainee SEN Teaching Assistant – Bolton
Location: Bolton
Start Date: September 2026.
Contract: Long-term with Daily Opportunities available.
Salary: £450 – £500 per week (dependent on experience and scale point).
The School and Role
We are seeking a SEN Trainee Teaching Assistants to join supportive and inclusive primary schools from September 2026. This long-term opportunity is ideal for a motivated SEN Trainee Teaching Assistant (TA) who enjoys helping young learners grow in confidence and achieve their best in the classroom.

Requirements
To apply for this Trainee SEND Teaching Assistant, you should have:
- Do you have a background in care, residential, complexed needs support or youth work with children and young people?
- Confidence assisting children with classwork, 1:1 support, and small group learning activities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with teachers, pupils, and wider school staff.
- A positive attitude and genuine interest in supporting primary-age children’s progress and wellbeing.
- A dependable and adaptable approach to supporting classroom routines and learning activities.
