Working in partnership with Northern Lights Learning Trust, Vision for Education are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across a number of primary schools in the Darlington area.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils
- Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with classroom preparation, organisation, and learning resources
- Support pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement
- Work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and parents where appropriate
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children in a primary school or similar educational setting
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for education and supporting young people
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach to supporting learning
