September 2026 Start | Long-Term, Full-Time & Morning-Only Opportunities
Location: North Staffordshire (Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Audley, Bignall End and surrounding areas)
Salary: £92.56–£105 per day (PAYE, pro-rata for part-time morning roles)
Vision for Education is working with a range of nurseries, primary schools and Early Years settings across North Staffordshire that are now planning their September 2026 staffing requirements.
We are recruiting enthusiastic and caring Early Years and Nursery Teaching Assistants for a variety of long-term, full-time and morning-only positions. Whether you're an experienced childcare professional or looking to begin your career in Early Years, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
Available opportunities include:

Long-term morning-only Nursery and EYFS placements
-
Full-time, term-time-only Early Years Teaching Assistant roles

Nursery and Reception classroom support

Day-to-day nursery and EYFS supply work from the start of the autumn term
You'll play an important role in supporting children's early learning and development through engaging activities, play-based learning and positive relationships.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

A Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare, CACHE, NNEB or Early Years qualification (or be working towards one)

Experience working with young children in a nursery, preschool or school setting

A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
We also welcome applications from candidates with transferable experience, including parents, carers or those looking to begin a career in Early Years education.
A paediatric first aid qualification is desirable but not essential.
