Pay: £14–£16 per hour
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
Vision for Education are looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join a welcoming and positive nursery setting in Chelmsford.
The Role
As a Nursery Room Leader, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day running of your allocated nursery room.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities focused on play, learning and development.
- Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
- Lead, support and motivate a team of Early Years practitioners.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and EYFS requirements are consistently met.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting.
- Previous room-leading or team-leading experience is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for children's learning and development.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
