Qualified Primary Teacher – Urgently Needed

Vision for Education is a Welsh Government approved education recruitment agency supporting primary schools across Newport and South Wales. We are currently urgently seeking qualified and newly qualified Primary Teachers for a range of day-to-day supply and longer-term teaching positions.

We work closely with a number of primary schools across Newport and regularly have opportunities available from Foundation Phase through to Key Stage 2.

Whether you’re looking for flexibility through supply teaching or want to secure a longer-term position, we can help you find a role that suits your experience, availability and career plans. There may also be opportunities to move into permanent positions where the school and teacher are a good fit.

Requirements:

• Qualified Primary Teacher with QTS in the UK
• Newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply
• Available for either part-time or full-time work
• Previous primary school teaching experience
• A passion for delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Strong classroom management skills
• Able to plan and deliver lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales
• Confident assessing and marking pupils' work
• Positive approach to supporting children's learning and development
• Able to motivate and engage primary-aged pupils
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one
• Registered with the EWC or willing to complete registration
• Driving is preferred but not essential
