About the role
SEND Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support – Stafford & Surrounding Areas
£90–£130 per day (dependent on experience) | Flexible Supply & Long-Term Opportunities
Vision for Education is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to support children with additional needs across Stafford and surrounding areas.
We have immediate day-to-day opportunities available, alongside long-term placements and September 2026 roles already being secured by local schools.
We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have supported children with:
• Autism (ASC)
• SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs
• ADHD
• Speech and Language needs
• Moderate and Complex Learning Difficulties
• EHCP-supported pupils
What we're looking for:
• Experience providing 1:1 or small-group support
• Experience working with children with SEND in a school, nursery, care or support setting
• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
• Experience supporting SEMH needs (desirable)
