As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced teachers, supporting pupils in the classroom and helping to create a positive learning environment where every child can thrive.
About the Trainee Teaching Assistant Role
As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you may:
- Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Assist the class teacher with learning activities and classroom organisation
- Help children develop their confidence, independence and social skills
- Encourage engagement and positive behaviour throughout the school day
- Support pupils with varying learning needs within an inclusive classroom
- Gain valuable experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

What We're Looking For
To be considered for this Trainee Teaching Assistant role, you should:
- Have a genuine passion for working with children
- Be patient, enthusiastic and eager to learn
- Be confident working as part of a team
- Have experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
- Be willing to complete training through our National Teaching Assistant Programme
- Be able to provide suitable references
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check
- Have the Right to Work in the UK
