- Supporting pupils in class, in small groups, or 1:1
- Helping staff with day-to-day classroom activities
- Supporting behaviour and engagement in learning

- Building confidence working with children and young people
Trainee Teaching Assistant Training Programme
Before and during your placement as a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you’ll complete practical training including:
- Safeguarding
- Behaviour management
- Introduction to being a Teaching Assistant
- SEND awareness
Full support is provided throughout your journey as a Trainee Teaching Assistant.
