We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Governance Professional to join our Central Services team at an exciting time for our Trust.

About the role


We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Governance Professional to join our Central Services team at an exciting time for our Trust. This is a key strategic role, providing professional governance support across our Trust and ensuring governance arrangements operate effectively and compliantly.

The successful candidate will work closely with Trustees, Members, Academy Leaders and Executive Leaders to support our Trust's governance framework and continuous improvement agenda. The role also includes responsibility for key aspects of data governance, GDPR compliance, Freedom of Information requests, and Subject Access Requests.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
  • Significant experience working within a governance, compliance, regulatory or company secretariat environment.
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks and statutory requirements.
  • Experience servicing Boards and Committees.
  • Excellent organisational and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, FOI and information governance requirements.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and provide professional advice.
