PPA Teacher – Part Time – November 2026
TS7 Area – £121.50 to £150 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Vision for Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PPA Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the TS7 area on a part-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and adaptable teacher to work 2–3 days per week, providing high-quality teaching cover across different year groups and supporting pupils to continue making strong academic and personal progress.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum, following the school's existing planning and adapting learning where appropriate.
You will be confident working across different year groups and able to quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and staff.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Provide high-quality PPA cover for class teachers.
- Follow existing lesson plans and school schemes of work.
- Adapt teaching and learning activities to meet the needs of different pupils.
- Work across different year groups as required.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a calm and productive classroom.
- Monitor and support pupil progress during lessons.
- Provide appropriate challenge and support to ensure all pupils can achieve their potential.
- Work closely with class teachers, Teaching Assistants, and other members of staff.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience teaching within a primary school setting.
- Confidence teaching across different primary year groups.
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Experience planning and delivering high-quality lessons.
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of abilities and needs.
- A flexible, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential.
- Availability to work 2–3 days per week.
